Everything was simply really good. Had perfectly pleasant stay out of their visit with helpful staff and excellent location by the lovely garden. Location: the hotel was just next door to Karikari Lodge and the hosts were lovely and one of NZ's best beaches.

The rooms at Karikari Lodge are cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area to relax in. It feels like a home away from home, perfect for low-budget travelers like me.
Personally, I found the private bathroom with bathrobes in certain units unnecessary, but others might enjoy the added luxury.
